Waterfront garden ceremonies and receptions are provided in the Pavilion. The pavilion can be open for the spring and summer or fully enclosed and heated or cooled and our professional catering staff gladly serves entrees for up to 150 guests and hors d' oeuvres for up to 250. Whether you are planning an Elegant wedding; small or large, banquets, business events or holiday parties, the following information should help you create a stress free, memorable event.
Location Fees:
Saturday Night Receptions (begin after 5:00pm) $3000.00*
Saturday Afternoon Receptions (end by 3:00pm) $2000.00
Friday Night and Sunday Receptions $2000.00
Off-season (November-March) $750.00
Weekday Receptions $550.00
Receptions include:
- Use of the Gardens, Pavilion, and restrooms.
- Six hour rental block includes one hour for setup, 4 hour event, and one hour for cleanup. Guests have use of the grounds for four hours.
Saturday evening receptions include 5 hours of guest time.
- Round tables and chairs to provide seating for up to 150 guests.*
- Individual tables available for use as a cake, registration, DJ or gift table.
- Sturdy white wooden folding chairs with padded seats to accompany round tables.
- On staff Event Coordinator to assist with professional planning and coordination on your day.
- Gift certificate for dinner to The Boathouse Restaurant, for the bride and groom's one-year anniversary dinner.
- Bridal gift bag with midnight snack.
Wedding Ceremony when added to Reception Package
Ceremony Package Fees added to the reception location fee (above):
Saturday, Sunday and Friday evening: $750.00
Off-Season (Nov-March), Monday-Thursday, or Friday before 1:00: $350.00
Wedding Ceremony Package includes:
- 45-minute rehearsal, prior to the wedding day.
(Scheduled at the convenience of The Boathouse at Sunday Park.)
- Waived room rental fee at The Boathouse Restaurant for rehearsal dinner (based upon availability).
- One additional hour of guest usage time, to begin 30 minutes prior to beginning of ceremony.
- White, wooden folding chairs for seating up to 150 guests at ceremony.
The Boathouse is a professional member of the Richmond Bridal Association.
*Events exceeding 150 people, or seated events for more than 100 guests, may require additional equipment.
